Author Visit to Summit Street School

Posted on January 29, 2017

Summit Street SchoolComing up this week – February 2nd and 3rd – will be my first (I hope of many) school visits!  I will be giving a school-wide presentation about our book, Woolly Bear Winter: How North Woods Creatures Weather the Cold followed by two days worth of author/illustrator workshops teaching haiku and illustration to kindergarten through third grade students.  Plus, I’ll even get a chance to read to the pre-k students, too!  This should be an incredible experience as I am collaborating with Lisa Foley, their amazing art teacher!  Know of a school that would like an author / illustrator visit and workshop?  Check out the “resources” page on my website here!
